Adopt a Cat or Kitten

PEOPLE FOR CATS strives to adopt cats and kittens to appropriate, responsible and loving homes. Our kittens are normally adopted in pairs. Before being offered for adoption, all cats and kittens have been treated for fleas and intestinal parasites, examined by a veterinarian, vaccinated against rabies and distemper, tested for feline leukemia and feline aids, spayed or neutered, and microchipped.

How to Adopt

We are open only for people seriously interested in adopting a cat. Please come into the shelter during adoption hours to pick up an application to be pre-approved, or email us and we will send you the application to print, fill in and return to us. Once you have been pre-approved, you are welcome to come to the shelter during adoption hours to be shown the cats.

It can take up to one week to be pre-approved and you will be contacted via email.

Kittens (less than 1 year old)	$250 ($450 for two)
Cat 1-9 years old	$200; 2nd one 1-9 years old $100
Senior cat 10 years old and older	$100
