Veterinary Care Assistance Fund
We can help eligible cat owners with low-cost spay/neuter and other medical costs thanks to several generous grants. If you live in Bourne, Falmouth or Mashpee, MA, and you receive a form of public assistance like Social Security Disability, Unemployment Insurance or some other financial help, you probably qualify for assistance from PFC. Low cost PFC vouchers for a spay or neuter procedure at one of our local Falmouth veterinary offices and financial assistance for shots, exams or other veterinary care needed by your pet is available. CALL OUR HOTLINE: 508-540-5654 and when prompted press #2 and leave a message with your name, telephone number and a brief description of your need. One of our volunteers will call you within 24 hours. An application is completed on the phone and if you are approved, you will receive discounted veterinary care at one of our cooperating local veterinarians. PFC works with Deer Run Veterinary Services, Falmouth Animal Hospital, South Cape Veterinary Clinic and West Falmouth Veterinary Clinic.
Other Spay/Neuter Resources
The Animal Rescue League of Boston's Spay Waggin' has a mobile unit that comes to the area to spay and neuter owners' cats for a very reasonable fee, which includes vaccinations and flea and worm treatments.
The MSPCA in Centerville has a low-cost spay/neuter program for Hyannis and Falmouth residents.
