Cat Owner Resources
Cats are wonderful and complex creatures. Understanding your cat's behavior and needs can sometimes be challenging. The cats that come to our shelter have been surrendered or rescued. They have been through traumatic times and, when they leave our shelter, we hope that they will receive the very best of care.
The information in these links should be used along with the advice of your veterinarian. It is very important to always check with your vet first to see if any behavioral change may be due to a medical problem.
These organizations provide information about many aspects of cat care, including:
- litter box issues
- keeping fleas away
- communicating with your cat
- healthy food
- behavioral changes
- introducing another cat or pet into your household
